Maestro Models has released four simple photo-etched updates for improving the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Draken and the Airfix/Esci 1/48 SAAB J37 Viggen kits.

P4802 SAAB JA35A/B Draken Etched Instrument Panel

This set includes a beautifully etched colour metal instrument panel produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic that really is a work of art.  The set comprises of 3 etched parts that replace the detail in the Hasegawa kit.

There is no folding required and the modeller doe not need experience with etched metal to be able to assemble this set.

This set will enhance the detail of the kit and look great when complete.

P4803 SAAB AJ37 Viggen Etched Cockpit detail set

This set includes a beautifully etched colour metal cockpit set produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic that really is a work of art.  The set comprises of 32 etched parts that enhance the instrument panel and side consoles.

There is some intricate folding required but anyone experienced with etched metal should be able to assemble this set easily.

This set will enhance the detail of the kit and look great when complete.  No ejection seat details are provided on this set as it is assumed that the modeller would use the Maestro replacement resin ejection seat K4813.

This is another excellent product Maestro models and is very simple to install the set.

P4805 SAAB JA37 Viggen Etched Cockpit detail set

This set includes a beautifully etched colour metal cockpit set produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic that really is a work of art.  The set comprises of 32 etched parts that enhance the instrument panel and side consoles.  This looks to be the modernised cockpit as it has what looks to be a modern multifunction display and radar scope.

There is some intricate folding required but anyone experienced with etched metal should be able to assemble this set easily.

This set will enhance the detail of the kit and look great when complete.  No ejection seat details are provided on this set as it is assumed that the modeller would use the Maestro replacement resin ejection seat K4813.

Overall another excellent product Maestro models and is very simple to install the set.

P4804 SAAB JA37 Viggen Etched airbrakes set

This set includes a beautifully etched airbrake detail set produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic.  The set comprises of 20 etched parts that enhance the kit detail.

There is some intricate folding required but anyone experienced with etched metal should be able to assemble this set easily.  An etched metal part is supplied to enhance the detail above the engine exhaust outlet and this is an area of the kit that was difficult to finish correctly prior to the issue of this set.

This set will enhance the detail of the kit and look great when complete.  No kit surgery is required for this detail set.  Overall another excellent product Maestro models and is very simple to install the set.
