C-17A Globemaster III

Xtradecal, 1/144 scale

Xtradecal has recently released two 1/144 scale decal sheets for the brand new C-17A Globemaster kit from Revell.

A nice selection of markings and colour schemes are included for USAF and international Globemasters.

X44005 - C-17A Globemaster III USAF

This sheet covers all USAF units not supplied on the kit decal sheet, and includes over 30 ship names plus other special markings. Many markings variations are included, and enough extra numbers are provided to allow the modeller to build practically any USAF, ANG, or AFRC C-17A.

X44006 - C-17A Globemaster III Export

This sheet includes markings for the RAF, RAAF, and Canadian Forces. Again, complete markings are provided to allow any aircraft to be modelled. The Canadian Forces CC-177s are unique in having all dark grey markings, so a full set of wing walkways, door outlines and safety markings are provided for that scheme.

Thumbnail panels:

Instructions for both decal sheets are in full colour with large side nose and tail views of each featured aircraft. Colour notes are also supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

Eight colour detail photos are also included.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

Revell's new 1/144 scale C-17A Globemaster III is a lovely kit, and Xtradecals' new decal sheets will be a great way to customise your kit whether you are interested in a USAF, RAF, Canadian or RAAF subject.
