MMP7201 SAAB A32 Lansen Details for the 1/72 scale Heller kit

The Heller Lansen has been around for over 25 years and while it is a nice kit and probable well detailed for its time, it is somewhat lacking in finer detail in today’s modelling era.  This set includes a beautifully etched colour metal cockpit detail and external detail produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic that will give the old Heller Lansen kit a real work over.  The set comprises of 17 colour etched parts to enhance the basic cockpit detail and ejection seat provided in the kit.

External parts include a scissors link for the nose undercarriage, engine burner ring, wing fences and new speed brakes.  To install the speed brakes requires a little bit of kit surgery but nothing major and two resin speed brake wells have been included to install in the fuselage once the panels have been cut out.
There is very little folding required of the etched metal and the modeller does not need a high level of experience with etched metal to be able to assemble this set.

This set will enhance the detail of the kit and look great when complete.

Overall another excellent product from Maestro models and it is relatively simple to install the set.

MMP7217 SAAB J32 Lansen Conversion Set for the 1/72 scale Heller kit

This set converts the Heller A32/S32 Lansen kit to the J32 Lansen.  The set includes a new resin nose section including the four gun ports and nose wheel well, a replacement engine exhaust tail pipe and a belly conformal fuel tank.

There is some kit surgery required but the modeller does not need a high level of experience with conversions to be able to assemble this set.

Overall another excellent product from Maestro models and it is relatively simple to install the set.

K7228 SAAB 32 Lansen Vacform Canopy

Crisply vacuum moulded in clear styrene Maestro Models have produced a simple replacement set for the Heller kit canopy.

The set is designed as a simple replacement for the Heller A32/S32 Lansen kit.  As with all vacuum formed canopies care will need to be taken to carefully cut the canopy from the scrap styrene and two canopies are provided just in case.  Overall an excellent kit from Maestro models but some experience in cutting vacuum formed canopies is required to install the set.

P7205 SAAB J29/S29/A29 Tunnan Etched detail set for the 1/72 Scale Heller kit

The Heller Tunnan has been around for over 25 years and while it is a nice kit and probable well detailed for its time, it is somewhat lacking in finer detail in today’s modelling era.  The old Matchbox kit while just as old was marred by the typical trench like panel lines typical of Matchbox kits and I am sure that this set will easily fit the Matchbox kit as well.  This set includes a beautifully etched colour metal cockpit detail and external detail produced by Eduard of the Czech Republic that will give the old Heller Tunnan kit a new level of detail.  The set comprises of 14 colour etched parts to enhance the basic cockpit and ejection seat detail provided in the kit.

External parts include scissors link for the nose and main undercarriage, engine exhaust ground cover, wing fences, wheel hubs, brake detail and nose and main wheel well detail.

There is very little folding required and the modeller does not need a high level of experience with etched metal to be able to assemble this set.

This set will enhance the detail of the Tunnan kit and look great when complete.
Overall another excellent product from Maestro models and it is relatively simple to install the set.
