Trumpeter's 1/32 scale A-7E Corsair II is available online from Squadron
This is my 1/32 scale A-7E Corsair II from Trumpeter.
It is not a bad kit except for the two major flaws that are easily corrected with the Zactoman kit. The canopy and windshield are
the nicest vacform parts that I have ever seem and the details on the canopy rails are amazing!
Since I got the model for a really fair price, I went all out with resin, avionic bays, wheel wells and cockpit are all from Aires.
The paint I used are a mix of Humbrol, Tamiya and Testor's Model Master. The yellow lines on the windshield and canopy are made with Tamiya tape as the color is quite close to the real thing and being a bit lazy, I didn't want to go through the masking and remasking thing. The result is quite acceptable.
I did some pre shading and after painting, I applied a wash with Tamiya smoke and when dry, I used 3200 grit sand paper on the model. I love using Tamiya smoke for my wash since it is a translucent paint, it is more subtle then black.
I used an old Cutting Edge decal sheet for the markings.
Hope you like the results - cheers!
