Background

There have been many different Russian pressure suits, the most numerous being the KKO-5 partial pressure suit, introduced for pilots of Mach 2 aircraft such as the MiG-21 and Su-9 at the beginning of the 1960's. Other suits are the Russian VKK-4 and -6Ms partial pressure suits, as used with their aluminium GSh-4 and -6 helmets in such aircraft types as the MiG-21.

FirstLook

This is a very simple aftermarket resin pilot, consisting or two parts, the main body and his left arm (sorry - I forget to get a photo of it). It comes in solid packaging and the resin is nicely cast with no bubbles and almost zero clean up.

The packaging comes with a simple painting guide. Unfortunately we do not get any information on what pressure suit this. Looking online there is some information but not a lot. That said when painted up this will look great next to your MiG-21 or other Warsaw Pact fighter.

Conclusion

A great addition, I do hope that a seated pilot is in the AERO line pipeline in the future.
