Unsurprisingly, given the brand name, this sheet focuses on several RAF and a single FAA aircraft crewed by airmen from the Netherlands. The subjects will obviously appeal to these with a strong interest in Dutch airmen who fought on following the German occupation of Holland; but they are generally attractive schemes in the own right, and may appeal for this reason alone.

The decals are supplied in a re-sealable plastic bag with instructions that are very nicely produced in colour on both sides of a folded A-3 sized glossy sheet. They clearly indicate markings placement, and include a recommended kit for the version of aircraft depicted. In some instances the instructions advise to use the kit’s national insignia decals; which seems fair enough. A brief note regarding the aircraft and its station location is given for each subject. Additional anecdotal information is included in some cases. Colours are described using their common military names. The decals look to be superbly printed and with excellent colour density.

The subjects covered by this package are as follows:

  • Mitchell II, FR207, NO-U

  • Mitchell II, FR189, NO-E Eve

  • Mitchell II, FR199, NO-M Mother Monque

  • Mitchell II, FR207, NO-G Riding High
