High quality production, good clear instructions.

These PE set offers a simple but very effective detail improvement on what their respective kits have to offer. The production quality is excellent, and the PE set’s instructions very clear and comprehensive. I highly recommend both.

Resin Improvement has quite an extensive range of detail and conversion parts in resin and both coloured and plain PE; they also offer and pre-cut paint masks. Their PE products are manufactured by Eduard, so the quality is automatically good, and I assume Eduard is behind the paint masks and resin as well, as their quality is certainly excellent as well.

The items reviewed here are intended for their respective boxings of the Hobby Boss kit. The PE sets come in a resealable cellophane bag with card stiffener and well-drawn diagrammatic instructions.

Both sets are focussed on the cockpit, but also include windscreen wipers and various small external details. The UH-60A set also has seatbelts for the cabin which does much to account for this set’s higher parts count. The HH-60H set places a little more emphasis on small exterior details by comparison. Both sets include some spares of very small pars, which enable the carpet monster to have a snack without total loss to the finished model.

These PE set offers a simple but very effective detail improvement on what their respective kits have to offer. The production quality is excellent, and the PE set’s instructions very clear and comprehensive. I highly recommend both.
