FirstLook

This latest release by Red Roo Models should appeal to fans of the Royal Australian Navy and Korean War. The two subjects covered are:

  • Firefly Mk.5, VX385, 205/K of 817 Squadron, aboard HMAS Sydney, circa 1953, and

  • Firefly AS.5, VX388, 207/Q, aboard HMAS Vengenace.

The decals come supplied in a re-sealable polythene bag with six colour printed A4 pages of instructions and markings guide. The instructions give a brief background on the Firefly and the colours it wore during its service with the RAN.

They go on to provide very comprehensive instructions on decal application and how to get the best results from the decals supplied, including advice on the brand’s specific characteristics.
