The de Havilland Mosquito is almost a staple in the stashes of many a model builder across the world. Even just considering the release of the HK Models B Mk IV in 1/32nd scale, this will book will be a must for builders looking to add additional details to this models. The excellent build article will also give them insight into its construction. Even the smaller scale modellers will certainly welcome this book into their library.

The book contains all of the information required if you are interested in the subject right through to those looking to super detailing information to enhance their builds. One thing I found quite interesting were the extensive various marks that were derived from this variant, the target tug TT Mk 39 probably being the most interesting and ugly looking of all.

Conclusion

This book is a real must for historians and Mosquito phones from all genres. The details provided across the entire airframe is second to none. The coverage is first class, extensive and complete for all variants of the glass nose Mosquito, many of which I’d never heard of.

The inclusion of the build articles and kit summaries across the various scales are an excellent inclusion into a book already jam packed with information.

Although minimal squadron information is provided in this book, it’s level of technical completeness puts it well and truly into the recommended category.

This is a very nice book to have.

Thanks to Valiant Wings Publishing for the sample.
