Meng's 1/48 scale F-35A Lightning II is available online from Squadron for USD$59.99

I have just completed Meng's brand new 1/48 scale F-35A. I reviewed this kit recently on HyperScale.

This is a very nice kit and the build was trouble free with excellent fit. I only used a few smears of Mr Surfacer here and there, which were mainly as a result of me being a bit heavy handed detaching parts from the sprues.

The decals were from Furball Aero Design (I couldn't resist the Aussie markings) but everything else is entirely from the box.

I'll be writing this one up in detail for Issue 77 of Military Illustrated Modeller magazine.
