Description

Here is my F4-J Phantom "Rocking Rhino" Eduard Limited Edition.

The basic kit is produced by Academy which, originally, is very beautiful with a very fine engraving, very intelligent architecture and a wide range of weapons.

Eduard brings resin parts (wheels, ejection seat, nozzles, etc.), photo etched parts, paintings maks (cockpit, wheels) and, above all, two very beautiful decals sheets for 5 decorations (3 of the US NAVY, 2 of the Marines) and numerous stencils.

I chose to build a VF-92 aircraft embarked on the aircraft carrier "USS Constellation". The assembly is not too complicated but requires a lot of care and organization.

The main difficulty is due to the assembly of the main landing gear which must be done during the assembly of the wing. I slightly modified the wing to be able to put the main landing legs at the end of assembly after painting.

For the decoration, I used the colors Gunze H316 and H 325 and the chrome yellow Lifecolor UA42.

Note that the black areas on the fuselage and wings are painted, I did not use the decals provided. I highly recommend the construction of this model which is a great source of satisfaction.
