They don't make conversions much easier than this!

AIMS has released a Dornier Do 17 Z-6 nose to backdate the ICM Z-10 to the earlier night fighter.

The conversion comprises a single solid nose cast perfectly in pale grey resin. AIMS has captured the subtle curves and flats of this early night fighter's nose.

 

 

Cleanup should be fast and easy, with just a resin tab to remove. The back of the resin part features a rebate around the circumference that should assist fit to the kit's fuselage.

 

 

No cutting of the kit will be required. This resin part will simply replace the ICM Z-10 nose.

 

 

AIMS also offers a 1/48 scale Do 17 Z decal sheet, item no 48D020, that includes two Do 17 Z-6 options, 'White 'A' and R4+NH. This is also avaiable from either AIMS' website or Hannants.

 

 

This is a very easy conversion to create an interesting alternative night fighter version of the Dornier Do 17.

Recommended to Luftwaffe Night Fighter fans.
