Following on from the release of his Spitfire book earlier this year, Spencer Pollard has released a detailed guide to the building and painting of the Airfix 1:48 Hawker Sea Fury FB.11., available now:

Let’s Build… The Hawker Sea Fury (Mini Guide)

Comprising 32 pages, this high-quality guide is printed on glossy paper with high production values, to clearly guide the modeller through everything that they need, to construct and paint this new and very popular model.

Beginning with an in-depth review of the kit’s contents, the reader is taken through a walk-round of Yeovilton’s aircraft and then on to the assembly of the model, detailing of the cockpit and then the correction of some of the areas that have been discussed about this kit. He then moves on to painting, weathering and a detailed round-up of materials used, before providing some wonderfully beguiling shots of two warbirds: an FB.11 in Australian colours and the attractive T.20 trainer.
