Horizon Models has sent the following information about their next kit, due for release in January:

We are pleased to announce our next model kit - the Redstone Launcher.

We are particularly excited about this release as it contains parts and decals to model the WRESAT flight - Australia's first satellite - which occurred over 50 years ago and launched from Woomera, South Australia. 

This kit is now available for PRE-ORDER, with shipping expected from January 2019.

This new kit features:

• Finely detailed Redstone rocket with launch stand 

• Finely engraved recessed panel lines and bolts

• Parts and decals included to build any ONE of the following versions

  • Juno I with Explorer I, America’s first satellite, or

  • US Army PGM-11 Redstone IRBM, or

  • Sparta, or

  • the WRESAT mission that was launched from Woomera in South Australia, making Australia one of the first nations to build its own satellite and launch it from its own soil.

• High quality water-slide decals 

• Detailed instructions included

• Photo-etch parts included
