In addition to printing high-quality markings for other decal companies, Fantasy Printshop also produces their own decals under the brand name of Euro Decals. Until recently these have tended to be national markings, serials and codes, and generic decals, but we are now seeing a flurry of decal releases for specific aircraft subjects.
The latest of these covers a single striking F-4C Phanton II from the William Tell 1976 air gunnery exercise. These decals will be suitable for the Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4C/D Phantom II kit.
A large A4 sheet supplies the black chequered decals for the fin and elevators. A substantial number of spare checks are also supplied. The chequer decals are designed to be applied over white painted tail surfaces.
The balance of national and unique markings are printed onto a smaller decal sheet.
The decal sheets are printed perfectly by Fantasy Printshop. Colours look great, and the glossy printing is in register.
Instructions are on an A4 colour prinbted sheet with all four views plus scrap views of the fuel tanks and colour callouts. The numbering of the wing tank decals seems to be incorect but it is not hard to work out where they should go.
This is a very welcome release from Euro Decals for the Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4C/D Phantom II kit.
