Contents and Media:

3d printed resin and instructions

Review Type: FirstLook
Advantages: Beautifully printed detail, good instructions, secure packaging and a useful PE fret.
Disadvantages: None noted.
Recommendation: This is a lovely radio compartment that will enhance the Eduard kit or any others in this scale. You will also score a neat little storage box for those small pieces that seem to fall into the clutches of the carpet monster.

FirstLook

This set is designed for any of Eduard’s Bf 109 G kits and are 3D-printed in a grey resin.

The packaging is the newer style with a large 210x100mm backing card and sleeve containing the instructions and colour notes. Inside this is a clear box containing the resin pieces which are attached to the floor with an adhesive to prevent movement and damage. Inside the sleeve is also a small photo-etched fret for finer details.

This packaging is one of the standardised packets and in this case does a great job in protecting the small, detailed parts.

The parts give you the interior of both fuselage halves, along with front bulkhead and a very delicate and detailed radio set which needs some wire pieces added. The lengths and diameter of these are given in the two A5 instruction sheets, which also provides painting guides. A number of printing pillars will need to be carefully snipped away before assembly. The completed part is then sandwiched inside the rear fuselage of the model.

Detail is crisp and amazing in its finesse and will enhance the appearance of the kit and could be used on any other ‘G’ variant kits in this scale. As such the set comes highly recommended.

Thanks to Eduard for the review samples
