Dragon's 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang is available online from
Squadron
Here is my Dragon 1/32
scale P-51D Mustang.
I filled in the panel
lines on upper and lower wings only and left the fuselage untouched as
as I thought it looked fine.
I scratch built the centre
gear door retraction jacks and pitot head as these were missing from the
kit.
I reversed the propeller blades as Dragon would have you mount them
backwards.
I used Alclad II aluminium
for the wings and highly polished aluminium for the fuselage.
The decals are from the
box as the Australian release of the kit includes decals for a 82
Squadron RAAF Mustang flown by Sqn Ldr Schaaf. Australian Occupation
Forces in Japan August 1947.
