CAC CA-18 Mustang

Here is Dick Hourigan's 1/72 scale Italeri P-51D built as an ex-RAAF CAC CA-18 Mustang. The model was converted with resin parts from Red Roo Models including a new style of seat and cuffless paddle propeller blades.

Other subtle differences include the bright green interior colour.

Markings were sourced from Red Roo's 1/72 scale decal sheet AW72002 for the all-red VH-AUB.

This model was photographed at last weekend's 2008 Scale ACT Model Show, held in Canberra.
