Academy's 1/48 scale MiG-21PF is available online from Squadron.com

I would like to present some pictures of my 1/48 scale Academy MiG-21PF.

My plane is painted and marked in Syrian Air Forces during Yom Kippur War of 1973. I did small diorama with a piece of desert airfield, somwehe near Damascus.

I used Verlinden resin parts in the front to display the radar set and electronic bay. The cockpit has been provided by Pavla resin with some elements from Part's photoetched set.

The most difficult thing was adapting the CMK resin wheel bays to fit into the fuselage.

The handcarts for radar and fuel tank have been made from scratch.

As usual for my models this one has been painted with acrylic Gunze C paints and a bit weathered.
