        AH-1W & UH-1N 
      MARINE LIGHT ATTACK HELICOPTER SQUADRON 367 "SCARFACE" 
        MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CAMP PENDLETON 
      Activated December 1943 as Marine Observation Squadron 351. Re-designated as VMO-3 in 1944 and supported campaigns on Peleliu and Okinawa. Participated in the occupation of North China from 1945 to 1947. Deactivated on 20 August 1949. Reactivated August 1966. Scarface call sign adopted during summer of 1967. Re-designated HML-367 March 1969 and supported Operations Medina, Fortress Ridge, Prairie Fire, Project Delta, Sparrow Hawk, Dewey Canyon, Apache 
        Snow, Swift Saber, Lam Son 719, and declassified top secret reconnaissance missions deep into Laos. Received the AH-1G Cobra December 1969, becoming the first operational "Cobra" Squadron in the Marine Corps. Converted to a composite squadron of Hueys and Cobras in 1979 and re-designated HMLA-367. Participated in Operation Desert Storm in early 1990s. Deployed multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and participated in Operation Phantom Fury.
