FirstLook

Quickboost continues its prolific release schedule with a number of recent releases in 1/48 scale.

All the sets are perfectly cast in grey resin with minimal cleanup required. Consistent with Quickboost's philosophy to date, each set has been designed with a minimum of parts, and should be straightforward to assemble

Most are self-explanatory but I have added some notes as appropriate:

QB 48 205 - P-51B/C Mustang Wings Flaps for Tamiya

Drop fit replacements for Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-51B / Mustang III Flaps.

QB 48 206 - I-16 Ski Landing Gear for Eduard

A simple but distinctive conversion for Eduard's family of little Polikarpov fighters.

QB 48 208 - Wellington Fuel Outlet Pipe - Closed Flaps

QB 48 209 - JAS 39D Air Scoops for Italeri

QB 48 211 - Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 Gun Barrels for Fujimi

QB 48 212 - Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop Engine Cover with Radiator for Tamiya

One-piece lower cowl plus the compact "Aboukir" tropical filter housing for Tamiya's 1/48 scale Spitfire Vb kit.

QB 48 213 - Su-25 Ejection Seat with Safety Belts

Lovely detail included cast-on harness straps for any 1/48 scale Su-25 Frogfoot.

QB 48 214 - Su-15TM Flagon F Pitot Tube

Amazingly detailed "caged" pitot tube made up from both resin and photo-etched parts for experienced modellers.

QB 48 215 - F6F-3E Hellcat Conversion Set for Eduard

This straightforward conversion will transform your Eduard F6F-3 Hellcat into that version's night fighter. The wing radar pod and mounts plus new machine gun inerts are included.

QB 48 216 - F6F-5/5E Hellcat Gun Barrels for Eduard

QB 48 217 - Wellinton Fuel Outlet Pipe - Opened Flaps

QB 48 218 - Junkers Ju 88 A-4 Exhausts

QB 48 219 - Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 Gun Barrels for Hasegawa

QB 48 220 - Junkers Ju 88 G-6 Radar FuG 240 "Berlin" Long Version

The Luftwaffe's late-war FuG 240 radar was covered with a plywood streamlined nose cone. This was quite a transformation for the Junkers Ju 88 G-6. Quickboost has made this conversion extremely easy in 1/72 scale with its one-piece resin Berlin nose.

QB 48 221 - Junkers Ju 88 G-6 Gun Barrels

QB 48 222 - A-4E/F Skyhawk Gun Barrels for Hasegawa

QB 48 223 - F-14A/B Ejection Seats with Safety Belts

Gorgeously detailed replacement seats for any F-14A/B Tomcat kits (but Hasegawa's is your best bet!). A great improvement over any of the available kit's parts.
