FirstRead

Anybody that is interested in Gunships, from the first days until the present, will definitely want to have this title in their collection.

This is a very complete book on the subject with eight chapters covering gunship development, the different types of gunships, conflicts they have been used in, weapons systems and gunships of different countries.

There are 204 pages in total, with plenty of color and B&W photos, - 245 colour and 101 black and white to be exact. The photos are excellent quality showing plenty of details that will be helpful to modellers and those that just have a interest in these aircraft.

The text is very well researched. I like the fact that personal accounts of those that have served or still are serving in these gunships have been inlcuded.

This is a great book that comprehensively documents Gunships, with plenty of first-hand accounts and photographs.

The book is highly recommended and is availiable now. It may be purchased by calling Specialty Press at 1-800-895-4585 or by visiting their web site www.specialtypress.com. A small fee of USD6.95 will be added for shipping and handling.
