Victory Models has sent the following information about their forthcoming Spitfire Mk. VIII & IX decals in 1/32 scale:

Victory Productions is pleased to announce their forthcoming 1/32 decal "Spitfire Eights & Nines" for the new Tamiya kit. Subjects include:

  • Spitfire VIII, HL-K “Fargo Express”, 308th FS, 31st FG, Italy, 1944, pilot Leland Molland

  • Spitfire IXc, EN522, FU-F/JR “Tikkie”/”Shangri-La”, 453 Squadron RAAF, 1943, pilot John Ratten

  • Spitfire IXc, ML296, “DU-N”, 312 (Czech) Squadron, September 1944, pilot Otto Smik

  • Spitfire IXe, SM179, 9N-T “Lady Jane”, 127 Squadron, Netherlands, December 1944, pilot Peter Hillwood

  • Spitfire IXc, MH894/WZ-JJ “Lady Ellen III”, 309th FS, 31st FG, Italy, March 1944, pilot John Fawcett

  • Spitfire IXe, SL633, JT-10, 4th Fighter Regiment, Czechoslovakian Air Force, 1946

The decal is printed by Cartograf, with artwork by Jennings Heilig.
