Lake LA-4 Buccaneer

Here is my latest model - a scratchbuilt Lake LA-4 Buccaneer 1/48.

A three view drawing was enlarged to 1/48 for this project.

Fuselage and wings were carved from pine, and a vacuform mold was cast from the parts. Parts were vacuformed in.040 styrene.

My Buccaneer was painted with Testors Gloss White, and Metallic Red.
