Here are some photos of the Classic Airframes' 1/48 scale Dornier Do 17Z that I completed earlier this year.
The scheme chosen was an aircraft from 5./KG 3 based at Heiligenbeil, East Prussia during the invasion of Poland in 1939.
The decals were from Techmod. Enhancements include wire brake lines, resin MG15 replacements with photo-etched gunsights, and some scratchbuilt items including the DF loop antenna, clothes-rack aerial under the fuselage, nylon invisible thread for the top antenna, replacement landing light, pitot mast from small diameter tubing, and aileron trim tabs from scrap styrene.
This was a somewhat difficult build, but very rewarding nonetheless.
