Matt from Large Scale Planes has sent some information about a new release:

LSP is selling a replacement resin and photo-etched engine cowling for the 1/32 Trumpeter WWII Corsair kits. The cowl suits primarily the F4U-1 Trumpeter kit ( variants listed below) however it can be adapted for even the 1/32 Revell Corsair kits.

The replacement cowl will suit the following models of Corsair:

• F4U-1(Corsair Mk.I)

• FG-1 (Goodyear built)

• F4U-1A (Corsair Mk.II)

• F3A-1 (Corsair Mk.III - Brewster built)

• F4U-1C (20mm armed variant of F4U-1D)

• F4U-1D (Corsair MkIV)

• F4U-2 (Night Fighter)

The price is USD$20.00 plus shipping, and the cowl may be purchased directly from LSP's website.
