Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Fw 190 A-8 is available onine from Squadron

Here is my 1/48 scale Tamiya Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8/R8 variant.

This was built several years ago, but this fall I decided to release this old bird with newly taken pictures.

The kit was finished with the markings of JG3.  This A-8/R8was flown by Wilhelm Moritz in the summer of 1944. 

Unfortunately, the kit has some accuracy problems like the diameter of the main wheels and the shortness of the main wheel leg. I tried to solve the first problem by replacing the wheels from Eagle Part (EP#6-48) but the shortness of legs stil exists. Beh! What's done is done.

Painting was done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics.

Upper surfaces painted to RLM75/74 and underside to RLM76. Mottlings on the fuselage sides by free hand airbrushing.
