AC-119K Stinger

Italeri's 1/72 scale C-119C is available online from Squadron.com

This one was built a couple of months ago for a group build here at IPMS Guatemala about cargo planes. It was a long time before I could get my hands on one of these kits and when I finally did it was the perfect excuse for the group build.

It is built out of the box, only some seatbelts and minor details were added since you can´t see much detail when the fuselage is closed. It was painted using Model Master paints, some post-shading and lights were applied to give a weathered effect. The gun barrels were drilled to give a bit more detail.

Here you see it next to my AC-130A also from Testors (this model was refurbished last year), now I´m looking forward to build an AC-47 to complete the line. Enjoy the photos!
