Tamiya's 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang is available online from Squadron.com

This is my P-51 D-5-NA "Cripes A Mighty 3" depicted during the end of August and the beginnig of September 1944.

The kit is the wonderful Tamiya 1/32 and I did some shopping (something I did not until now because I contented myself with the original box) with Barracuda Studio. I had no problem to put this differents pieces in the Tamiya kit. It is a real pleasure and i think that the result is really higher. I used the magnificiant Eaglecals decals to do the Preddy Mustang.

The plane bears the scars of his fights and aluminum coating lost its luster…

I used Testor's Metalliser from Modelmaster.

I had to make the figure of Major but this is represented with a G-suit and it must match the following period during his last European tour.
