Each set comes in a cellophane bag stapled to a card header, and all include instructions. They all have a transparency for their PE instrument panels. The instructions are easy to follow, and the PE frets are of good quality. The lack of colour call outs for the cockpits is a minor inconvenience, but is easy to overcome.

Most of the review images are from Brengun’s website. These illustrate the PE parts in situ on their intended kit, which is more useful than an image of a PE fret alone. I have combined these with scans of their respective instructions. The general details of what each set provides are as follows:

  • BRL72069 – P-51H (for the RS Models kit): This set improves the kit’s cockpit with seat belts, instrument panel, rudder panels, side consoles, and rear-vision mirror. It also provides a DF-loop, two antenna masts, scissors links, tail-wheel link, and sway-braces for the two underwing pylons.

  • BRL72070 – Bf 109G (for the AZ Model kits): This set improves the kit’s cockpit with seat belts, instrument panel, rudder panels, trim wheel, head armour, cockpit coaming, and minor sidewall detail. External improvements include underwing and under-fuselage antennae, DF-loop, oil-cooler matrix and vent, engine air inlet braces, for some reason just one exhaust shield, rudder actuator, drop-tank strap, scissors links, and replacement radiator outlet flaps.

  • BRL72071 – A6M3 Zero 32 (for the Tamiya kit): This set improves the kit’s cockpit with a replacement seat, seat belts, instrument panel, rudder pedal straps, quite a bit of replacement sidewall detail, DF-loop, canopy handle, and gun cocking levers. External details cover scissors links, replacement main undercarriage doors, and tail-wheel door.

  • BRL72072 – BH 21 (for the Fly kit): This is a simple set providing for the cockpit a replacement seat with belts, instrument panel, ammo-boxes, throttle, and rudder bar with foot straps. External detail includes a prop-boss plate, boarding-step surrounds, a choice of two air inlet screens, and ground-handling slot surrounds.
