Airfix's 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk.I is available online from Squadron

Here are a few photos of my 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk. IIa using the superb new Airfix Mk1 kit painted in late 1940 colours with a black port wing underside and 'sky' spinner and fuselage band.

This model was built for my Battle of Britain series in Model Airplane International magazine.
