TBD-1 Devastator

Here is my 1/48 scale GWH TBD-1 Devastator.

This is a great kit, but has some very fine, fragile pieces. The model has had some detail work on the wing folds, torpedo hanger, modified canopy, shorten landing gear, and torpedo sight. The wing seam was horrible trying to work with between the ribs. Also, getting the decals to sit down also took some work with Micro Sol / Set.

Exterior color is USN Blue Gray 4847 and Light Gray 4765 painted to reflect Ens George Gay 8-T-14. Paint was pre and post shaded. AK / Mig powders were also used
