Review Type:

First Look.

Advantages:

Time saving and ease of use.

Disadvantages:

None noted.

Conclusions:

Eduard’s pre-cut masks are generally useful aids, and the utility and quality of the one reviewed here is not in doubt. Some may feel it is a luxury only the wealthy or tape-challenged amongst us will feel is a justifiable expense. This is true to some extent, but if it helps those who would struggle to achieve a nice crisp paint demarcation then it will be money well spent,

I happily recommend the masks to those for whom the cost benefit makes sense.

FirstLook

The mask comes packed in a re-sealable cellophane bag with card stiffener and folded instructions, and caters for the Special Hobby kit’s canopy and wheels.

The quality of the pre-cut Kabuki tape mask is excellent and the instructions celar and simple.

The quality of the pre-cut Kabuki tape mask is excellent. However, some may feel the L-29 Delfin has a quite simple to mask canopy using traditional methods, and that the mask’s cost makes it a bit of a luxury. This is true, but there are those who genuinely struggle with or hate masking canopies in particular; and for these folk the simplicity and crisp result the masks offer more than justifies the expense.
