In addition to printing high-quality markings for other decal companies, Fantasy Printshop also produces their own decals under the brand name of Euro Decals. These have tended to be national markings, serials and codes, and generic decals, but this time we have some timely options for the forthcoming 1/48 scale Bristol Blenheim Mk.I kit.

Markings are supplied for six subjects in a variety of finishes.

Subjects are:

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.I - K7040 "114", 114 Sqn, RAF Wynton March 1937. Finished in Dark Earth and Dark Green upper surfaces and Night below.

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.I - K7059 "TW", 90 Sqn, RAF Bicester September 1938. Finished in Dark Earth and Dark Green upper surfaces and Night below.

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.IF - YN-B, 601 Sqn, RAF Hendon Summer 1939. Finished in Dark Earth and Dark Green upper surfaces with Night below. The lower starboard wing and tail plane are painted white.

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.I - L7760 "UQ", 211 Sqn, Tatoi Greece, late 1940. Finished in Dark Earth and Middle Stone upper surfaces and Light Mediterranean Blue below.

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.IF - K7159 "YX-N", 54 OTU, RAF Church Fenton, December 1940. Finished in overall Night.

  • Bristol Blenhein Mk.IF - L1210 "P", 711 NAS, FAA based at RNAS Haston in 1942/43. Finished in Dark Slate Grey and Extra Dark Sea Grey upper surfaces with Sky lower surfaces.

Instructions are supplied in a two-sheet, double-sided folded and stapled booklet with full colour four views and notes on each subject.

The single decal sheet is printed perfectly by Fantasy Printshop.Colours look great, and the glossy printing is in register.

 

 

This is a very welcome release from Fantasy Printshop and in peffect time for the soo-to-be-released Airfix kit.
