are available online from Squadron.com
Eduard has released a set of wheels for the new HK Models 1/48 scale B-17 Flying Fortress.
Inside the new-style stout cardboard box are seven parts in light grey resin plus a masking sheet and detailed instructions.

The resin parts feature lovely detail. The tyres feature subtle flattening and bulging. The main wheels are cast with a diamond tread pattern. The inner and outer hubs of the main wheels are supplied as separate parts.

A nice touch is that the raised lettering on the tyre sidewalls are cast at different rotations compared to the flat spots

The tail wheel is also included.

Casting blocks will best be tackled with a razor saw.
Instructions are supplied on a single folded paper sheet.
This is a simple but worthwhile upgrade for HK Models' new 1/48 scale B-17G Flying Fortress kit. I'm sure it will be suitable for the F version if we see that from HK Models too..
Thanks to Eduard for the samples.
