Revell 1/48 scale
Consolidated B-24D Liberator

by Tadeu Pinto Mendes

Consolidated B-24D Liberator

Description

This model does not present any major difficulties, being easy to assemble in this large 1/48 scale.

Compared to B-17s of the same scale, the Liberator is better detailed, with a complete bomb compartment.

However, you need to add weight to your nose to make it level.

This model offers two USAAF marking options, one with the name "Jerk’s Natural" and "Fightin Sam", both of which fought in Operation Tidalwave, the bombing of Ploesti in Romania.

I chose to make Jerk's natural, which was one of the specimens used in this mission.
