After a long five months, I have finally completed then next two builds for my Battle of Britain anniversary series running in Model Airplane International.

These are both 1:48 scale models, the Wingsy Kits Me109E-1 and ICM Heinkel He111 H-3.

The Wingsy 109 is a delightful kit and I thoroughly enjoyed building it, the same cant be said of the ICM He111 unfortunately!

This turned into a major slog however I’m quite pleased with the end result.

Whilst building the He111 my research turned up some new information on this aircraft which changed the markings and this will be covered in the magazine.
