ICM's 1/32 scale
de Havilland Tiger Moth

by Rafi Ben-Shahar

de Havilland Tiger Moth

Description

ICM's 1/32 scale Tiger Moth is well designed. Parts representing fabric texture are nicely done.

Although the attachment of upper and lower wings is delicate, these units are provided in half blocks with imbedded dihedral angles that facilitate the most difficult of the biplane build.

Locating holes for rigging will save you from guess work. However, some inaccuracies exist so, consulting reference photos is necessary. Instructions indicate that the width of control cables and strut cables is identical. Not so, according to my reference photos. I used 0.1 and 0.3 mm respectively.

Upper roundels decals are also not standard, but I could not verify which is correct for the particular aircraft.
