Review Type: |
First Look. |
Advantages: |
Very fine details; well etched with clear instructions. |
Disadvantages: |
None noted except for the need to take time and care with the folding. |
Conclusions: |
Only photo-etch can achieve the finesse required to produce such a complex radar array, and this set does that very well so should look brilliant on the front of a suitable aircraft model. |

This single 40x40mm PE fret contains a set of those rather complex multi-pronged radar arrays that was fitted to late war Luftwaffe night fighters such as the Ju88 C/R, Me110F/G, He219, Ta154 V3, Do215, and Do217J/N. the small instruction sheet explains exactly how and where it has to be folded and glued.

It is extremely finely produced but will require some very complex and careful folding and gluing but will look fabulous on a model.
