Eduard SPACE, 1/48 scale

Eduard has expanded their range of accessories for their 1:48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-14/AS.

This set will be suitable for the new standalone kit, of the G-14/AS kits in Eduard's Limited Edition Bodenplatte and Wild Sau Episode 2 boxings.

This SPACE set comprises 3D printed decals for the instrument panel and placards, plus photo-etched parts for the half-tone harness straps and throttles.

I used a couple of SPACE sets last year and I was very pleased with the results.

The 3D printed decals look really good in real life - better than my much larger-than-life studio photos!

I found that the 3D decals barely needed to be wet at all before they would slide - or sometimes fall - off the backing sheet. I used Gator’s Grip acrylic glue to secure the 3D printed decals to the plastic kit parts.

For what you get, I think USD$12.95 represents good value.

This SPACE set offers an alternative to the photo-etched instrument panel and smaller panels as supplied in the kits. It will result in a well detailed cockpit in Eduard's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-14/AS kits.

This is a valid alternative for Gustav fanciers..
