Here are three new Eduard releases for Meng's very nice1/48 scale EA-18G Growler kit.

Eduard offers two photo-etched sets and masks:

 

FE1288 - EA-18G Photo-Etch ZOOM

This is Eduard's ZOOM photo-etched fret for the Meng EA-18G, comprising one pre-coloured fret.

 

 

These contain detail parts for the front and rear cockpits.

 

 

The colour fret supplies instrument panels, side consoles, switch panels and smaller details.

 

 

Instructions are included.

 

FE1289 - EA-18G Seat Belts STEEL

Eduard offers a set of STEEL harness straps for both seats of the Meng 1/48 EA-18G.

 

 

Colours look good and the straps feature half tones for realistic shadow areas.

 

 

Although the STEEL label makes these sound rigid, they are in fact very thin and flexible.

 

 

Detailed instructions are included.

 

EX876 - EA-18G MASK

These are die-cut, self-adhesive imasks for the outside of the Meng 1/48 scale EA-18G canopy.

 

 

Instructions are provided.

These represent a fast and accurate solution for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.

 

 

Conclusion
