Plus Model has released a 1/48 scale resin figure labelled Hurricane Pilot.

In fact, the pilot looks like he would be suitable for pretty much any RAF or Commonwealth fighter in Britain or Northern Europe.

The figure is dressed in a blue RAF coverall flying suit with sheepskin zip-up boots and gloves, leather flying helmet, white silk cravat and Mae West life preserver. He also wears a holstered pistol. He is holding something in his left hand too. It looks like a mobile phone in the artwork...

Casting quality is very good, as is sculpting.

The pilot is in a generic standing pose.

The packaging includes a colour painting guide. The artwork is not up to the high standard of the resin figure. Don't be scared off by the artwork though. The resin pilot is very nicely done and the illustration does its job as a guide to painting.
