Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2
Wunderschone Neue Maschinen - Dual Combo

by Brett Green

Here is my eighth build for 2023 - my Eduard 1/72 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2 from the Wunderschone Neue Machinen Limited Dual Combo boxing.
Check out my detailed in-box reviewby following this link.

This is a gorgeous kit that makes almost no concession to its small scale. Detail is very impressive and fit is excellent.

I have always liked this winter whitewash JG 54 Yellow 3 scheme, so I was pleased to find it was one of the kit options.

The model is built nearly straight from the box. Eduard's resin wheels were used though. I also repainted the number 3 decal and the III Gruppe squiggle in a deeper shade of yellow to match my painted theatre markings.

I'll be writing this one up for a detailed article in Issues 219 and 220 of Model Airplane International magazine.
Thanks to Eduard for the sample
