A new name to me but with links to Fantasy Printshop according to the instruction sheet. This is a 145x100mm sheet that comes in the usual ziplock bag with a ten-page A4 instruction booklet, although two pages are blank. The decals are printed in a high gloss with minimal carrier film and great colour density and thankfully, owing to the number of white letters and numbers, printed on a mid-blue sheet to make it easy to identify the items needed.

There are eight subjects in a wide variety of schemes that offer a lot of choice to the modeller. Both fighters (day and night) as well as Hurribombers and both normal and tropical chin noses are represented. Each scheme is shown in a colour four-view drawing on a full A4 page with clearly marked decal positions. Colour details are given in Humbrol, Xtracolour, Extracrylix, Mr Color Aqueous and Vallejo Model Air numbers. No decal application tips are given.

Some of these are unusual and very attractive.

They are all RAF and are as follows:

  1. BD761 ‘SW-F’ of 253 Sqn, RAF Hilbastow , August 1942 with bombs and in Ocean Grey/Dark Green over Medium Sea Grey,

  2. BH125 ‘U’ of 3 PRU in Egypt, early 1942 in overall Bosun Blue (  a VERY dark blue) and only upper wing roundels,

  3. BG737 of the Malta Night Fighting Unit at Ta’ Qali in July 1941 in overall black,

  4. BE171 ‘YB-B’ of 17 Sqn in Burma in February 1942 in Dark green/Middle Stone over Azure Blue with a red spinner,

  5. BE421 ‘XP-G’ of 174 Sqn, at RAF Manston in May 1942 in Ocean Grey/Dark Green over Medium Sea Grey,

  6. Z3971 ‘SW-S’ of 253 Sqn, RAF Hilbastow , late 1941 in overall black (night) ,

  7. BG971of 1 Sqn SAAF based at LG92 in Egypt in July 1942 in Dark Earth/Middle Stone over Azure Blue with the orange-centred national markings of the SAAF, and

  8. BD930 of 335 Sqn based at LG 37, El Alamein, November 1942 in Dark Earth/Middle Stone over Azure Blue

All-in-all a good range of colours and markings for this popular aircraft that should satisfy the modeller looking for a variety of schemes.
