The release of these decals will offer welcome variety for anyone building the very nice Airfix 1/48 scale new-tool Jaguar kit, although it is equally relevant to the older Heller kit too.

Xtradecal has just released a series of new decal sets that covers the 1/48 scale Sepecat Jaguar.

Under review today is Part 1.

 

 

These will be suitable for the lovely new Airfix 1/48 scale Jaguar kit.

 

 

A varied selectiion of camouflage and markings is offered.

 

 

Details are as follows:

  1. Sepecat Jaguar GR.1 XZ384/'CM' of 20 Squadron Royal Air Force, based at RAF Bruggen, Germany, 1982.

  2. Sepecat Jaguar GR.1A XX733/'R' of Royal Air Force, based at Thumrait Air Base, Oman & Muharraq Air Bases, Bahrain, 1991.

  3. Sepecat Jaguar A 3-XA/'A6' of Escadron de Chasse 3/3 "Ardennes" Armee de l'air, based at Nancy-Ochey, France, 1985.

  4. Sepecat/BAe Jaguar GR.3, XZ369/'EF' of 6 Squadron Royal Air Force, based at RAF Coltishall, used in 'Operation Telic', 2005.

  5. Sepecat/BAe Jaguar GR.1A, XX116 of 16(R) Squadron Royal Air Force, based at RAF Lossiemouth, June, 1995.

  6. Sepecat/BAe Jaguar GR.3, XZ112/'GW' of 54 Squadron Royal Air Force, based at RAF Coltishall, 2005.

  7. Sepecat Jaguar GR.1 XZ361/'T' of 41 Squadron Royal Air Force, based at RAF Coltishall, UK, 1993.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets.

Both side views and other views are provided.

 

 

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

 

 

The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.
