Xtradecal has just released a new decal set that covers five 1/48 scale two-seater Spitfire T.9 subjects.

 

 

These will be suitable for the new Airfix 1/48 scale Spitfire T.9 kit.

 

 

A varied selection of camouflage and markings is offered.

Details are as follows:

  1. Supermarine Spitfire T.9, HS539, '4', of Royal Indian Air Force, based at Ambala Air Base, India, 1948.

  2. Supermarine Spitfire T.9, '158', of 'A Flight', Irish Air Corps, based at FTS Baldonnel, Ireland, 1960.

  3. Supermarine Spitfire TR.9, BS147, 'H-99', of Royal Netherlands Air Force, Netherlands, 1948.

  4. Supermarine Spitfire T.9, SM520, 'KJ.I', of Boultbee Flight Academy, based at Goodwood Aerodrome, UK, 2022.

  5. Supermarine Spitfire T.9, PV202,'5R.H', of Aerial Collective, based at RAF Duxford, UK, 2024.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets.

Both side views and other views are provided.

 

 

Colour notes are offered, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are perfectly printed and feature thin carrier film.
