Eduard has produced a range of accessories for the recently released Revell 1/32 scale Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc kit.

Tonight I review five of Eduard's useful upgrades.

3DL32037 - Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc SPACE for Revell kit

This SPACE set comprises 3D printed decals for the instrument panel and placards, plus photo-etched parts for the half-tone harness straps and throttles.

I have used SPACE sets on several of my projects and I have been very pleased with the results. The 3D printed decals look really good in real life - better than my much larger-than-life studio photos!

I found that the 3D decals barely needed to be wet at all before they would slide - or sometimes fall - off the backing sheet. I used Gator’s Grip acrylic glue to secure the 3D printed decals to the plastic kit parts.

Eduard's photo-etched upgrade offers super detail with one colour and one brass photo-etched fret providing detail focused on the cockpit and exterior.

The frets are packed full of detail parts.

Specifically, the colour fret supplies a replacement layered instrument panel, boxes, consoles, throttle, switches, knobs and more.

This will be a very visible update for theRevell 1/32 Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc,

33385 - ZOOM Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc for Revell kit

This new photo-etched fret supplies the colour fret only.

As noted above, the colour fret supplies a replacement layered instrument panel, boxes, consoles, throttle, switches, knobs and more.

With the Zoom range lower price, this represents great value for the big cockpit.

634051 - Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc LOOK for Revell kit

Eduard has expanded their range of accessories to include a LOOK multi-media update set for the recent 1/32 scale Revell Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc.

This SPACE set comprises a 3D printed instrument panel and a separate resin part, plus photo-etched parts for the half-tone harness straps for the pilot.

The face of the instrument panel is pre-painted with impresive detail.

The printed faces look good in real life - actually significantly better than my much larger-than-life studio photos!

Preparation won't take long. The instrument panel may be snipped free with sprue cutters before a quick cleanup with a sanding stick.

The STEEL photo-etched fret supplies nice flexible pre-coloured Sutton Harness for the pilot.

JX341 MASK Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc for Revell kit

This is a set of die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the canopy and wheels.

These masks represent a fast and accurate alternative for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.

The use of the photo-etched frets, either the full set or the ZOOM package, will result in a noticeably better detailed cockpit, especially for the instrument panel.

The resin 3D printed and photo-etched LOOK cockpit upgrade is a legitimate alternative to the kit parts.

The masks will save you a lot of time and add sharp precision to the clear parts too!

These are very useful investments for your Revell 1/32 scale Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc.
