Eduard has expanded its range of accessories for their own 1/48 scale P-40K kits.

6481178 - Eduard PRINT P-40K Undercarriage Legs for Eduard Kits

These undercarriage legs will be suitable for all Eduard's 1/48 scale P-40K kits.

Eduard has released a set of two undercarriage legs and undercarriage doors in grey 3d printed resin.

The 3d printed undercarriage legs should be easy and fast to free from their resin printing artefacts. Detail printed on the legs is really impressive. I particularly like the authentically depicted meshed cogs at the top of the legs.

Oleo scissor, tie-down loops and hydraulic lines have also been authentically depicted.

The resin main gear covers are attached to thin strips that will be fast and easy to clean up with a sharp hobby knife and a sanding stick.

Print quality is remarkable. The parts are translucent in places.

A small photo-etched fret supplies the side and forward undercarriage doors.

481194 - Eduard PRINT P-40K Tail Wheel Bay for Eduard Kits

Scale model tail wheel bays often seem to be a bit neglected and lonely.

Eduard solves this problem, at least for their own 1/48 scale P-40K kit.

Their eleven part undercarriage bay and wheels offers all the detail a modeller could wish for.

Eight 3d printed grey resin parts are beautifully presented. The main bay is lined with a realistic canvas finish and fine raised rivets.

Tail wheel doors are equally well printed and detailed.

Two styles of wheel are offered. The first looks like a solid tyre with Good Year raised lettering on the side walls. The second seems to be pneumatic with Firestone lettering. Both also feature small raised data lettering.

The final resin parts are the tail strut and retraction strut, which is printed in the open position.

Three photo-etched hub covers are also included.

EX1171 - Eduard PRINT P-40K TFace for Eduard Kits

Our fnal offering for tonight is a set of die-cut, self-adhesive masks for the Eduard 1/48 scale P-40K canopy and wheels.

Masks for both inside and outside the canopy are supplied.

These masks represent a fast and accurate alternative for a time consuming and often disliked modelling task.

They will save you a lot of time on that glasshouse canopy and add sharp precision to the clear parts too!

These 3d printed undercarriage legs, wheels and tail wheel bay offer a luxurious replacement for the kit's plastic parts. They will be useful investments for your Eduard 1/48 scale P-40K kits. The TFace masks will double the real estate covered - inside and out.
