Spencer Pollard’s latest modelling guide takes a detailed look at the Supermarine Spitfire, or more specifically, the 1/24 Airfix kit of this classic Second World War aircraft and how he converted their Mk.VIII into the High-Flying, HF.MK.VIII

Throughout the contents, you will find his HF.Mk.VIII project described in detail, revealing not only the shots he took of the model being built, detailed and painted, but also his thoughts on every aspect of that involved journey. As such, there are plenty of thoughts on the project, the kit, my initial plans and then how those plans were developed into a fully-fledged build. With plenty of written text to read, the book is an engaging as it is useful should anyone else wish to tackle this involved conversion.
