We have model photos, information and a cover shot from my forthcoming book, "How to Build Revell's 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6". This book includes four big build Chapters featuring the work of Marcus Nicholls, Chris Wauchop, Roy Sutherland and myself. Also included are detailed reference photos, four-view scale drawings by Radu Brinzan and an analysis of previously released 1:32 scale Bf 109 G kits. The book will be available in early August, and may be pre-ordered now for just £11.95 from ADH Books.

Our 100th Testor's ScaleWorkshop covers "Project Airfix", conducted during the IPMS Auckland Model-X Show on 1 and 2 June this year, where beginner modellers from ages 7-18 are given kits and they build them at the show. Brad Fallen reviews two new photo-etched sets from A.M.U.R Reaver - P-51D Mustang Cockpit and Wheel Wells. Images of the photo-etched parts on the fret and on the model are included.
Mark Davies examines Brengun's 1/72 scale Toilet Bomb for Skyraider. Images of the photo-etched parts, decals and instructions are included.
In yesterday's review of Hamilton Hobbies' 1/32 scale RAAF Mustang P-51D & CA-18 decals I suggested that the smaller supplementary decal sheet was ALPS printed. It is actually laser printed. I have changed the text to reflect this. The main sheet, as mentioned in the review, is screen printed (and beautifully too).

Brad Fallen examines Tamiya's 1/48 scale Fieseler Fi 156 C Storch Foreign Air Forces, with 27 images covering all the kit's plastic, metal and photo-ecthed parts, decals, masks and box top.

Pacific Coast Models has sent a photo of their forthcoming 1/32 Hawker Tempest showing corrections made to the tail planes since the initial photos were posted last week. A photo of the sprue containing the corrected tail planes plus another new image of the second sprue with smaller parts have been posted to the Preview page.

Rob Baumgartner reviews eight new 1/32 scale WWI pilot figures from Wings Cockpit Figures. Images of all the figures are included.
Brad Fallen examines Ventura Publications' revised edition of "D-Day to Berlin" by Malcolm Laird. Images of the cover and several sample spreads are included.
For Forum users still having trouble, there is now a new option for recovering passwords. If you still can't log in or have been locked out, you can try logging in again now. It will look for the old password and require you to create a new one. This temporary access to the old passwords will remain available for a few weeks.

Forum Password Update: If You're Still Having Problems...

Now that the dust has settled somewhat and there is a bit of breathing space, it seems that many visitors have successfully changed their password and are again able to access the Forums. If you have not changed your password yet, you can do so by following this link.

However, there will be some who might still be having difficulties.

In particular, if you originally registered with an email address that you no longer use, there will be no way for you to reset your password. If this is the case, or if you are having any other problem that prevents you from changing your password, you can set up a new user name and then apply for membership on HyperScale's Forums. The instructions on how to register for a new Network 54 login and then sign up for the Forums are listed at the bottom of each of the Forum pages.

I need to manually approve the Forum signups, so there may be a slight delay, but I will be checking several times a day for the next few days. I do apologise again for this situation.

I review Fantasy Printshop's ambitious 51 (yes, 51!) WWII German Luftwaffe Serials decal sets. These one and two-sheet sets cover white, black, yellow, red, green and blue serial letters in sizes ranging from 2.5mm to 16.5mm for Luftwaffe bombers, ground attack, transport and liaison aircraft. Black solid numbers are available in a range of sizes too. The review includes a listing of all 51 sets and ten images of a selection of decal sheets.

ANZAC Day, 2013

In a flurry of activity, I finished a 1/48 scale RAAF Spitfire Mk.VIII based on the Hasegawa kit and Aeroclub corrections yesterday too. Five photos and a description have been posted to the Gallery.
